From the moment I saw your website after a google search on the internet. I was impressed by the variety of service you provide.
The emails that I sent you (and there were rather a lot of them) was always replied very quickly and nothing was too much trouble. We found that being able to choose our own itinerary was far better than an organised one that could have been booked in the UK. We told you what we would like and you provided us with what we wanted. This was our first visit to Beijing in October 2009, and our first stopover on our 7 week around the world trip.
From the moment we were greeted at the airport from your driver we knew we were in safe hands and that we had made the right decision in organising our time with you.

The next day we went to the Confucius Temple, the quietness and tranquillity of the place was great, we found your knowledge of the Temple to be very interesting with any questions we may have had to be answered by you. Again we didn’t feel rushed at all.

We went to the Huntongs and had a ride on a rickshaw through the streets, visiting a local house. This again was a great experience and another insight to Beijing.
The guides picked us up from our hotel and were very punctual.
The cars we travelled in was of the highest comfort, the water you provide is most welcome. The warmth and hospitality that you and the staff give are second to none. I was concerned regarding a language barrier before we came, but with your staff being able to speak great English there was no barrier.
I would like to thank you and your staff for the outstanding service and I feel that I have made life-long friends with you and will keep in contact with you regularly and if you are ever in the UK you have my home to stay at.
Anyone travelling to Beijing I cannot recommend Iko too highly. She made our trip to Beijing the most exciting, highly informative and a fantastic one. I will never forget it.

My husband Deon and myself were fortunate to google Iko's website and make bookings through her prior to our quick trip to China to see the Olympics in August 2008.

Iko was amazing!!! She was very helpful on the phone when we called her from New Zealand
to suss it all out. Definitely took the stress out of being in a foreign country. Iko was then very accomodating when our friends joined us on for our two separate tour days.

Casey was our first friendly guide. She gave us a great tour of Tian an men Square & Forbidden city. She enjoyed a traditional Chinese lunch at a superb restaurant with us, then arrangedfor us to fit in a bit of shopping - much to my delight.
Casey also joined us that night at the Acrobatic show which was wellworth while going to.
Casey also had the patience of an angel flagging down Taxi's to send us safely back to our Hotel. We really enjoyed her company.

"Hello everybody, My name is Tomas Rezek and I am from the Czech Republic. Together with my mother, we went on a private trip to Simatai part of the Great wall with Iko this October. It was excellent.
First of all, the service was great. Iko picked us up at the hotel on time and the journey was very pleasant despite the distance. When we got there, we could spend as much time as we wanted wandering alone on the Wall. Afterwards we went for a very nice lunch and then went back to hotel. During whole trip, Iko was very nice to us. We were talking about Chinese culture and history, but also about many other things.

Secondly, this part of the Wall is really a great choice. I can compare it with Badaling, and in my opinion this part is better, even if not that much repaired. It is practically empty, despite the fact that there is a cableway. We had very nice weather, but still it is good to be prepared for strong wind. So I can only recommend you going with beijing-travels.com. It is safe and you do not have to worry in which factory shop you will end.

"From the 8th till the 24th of November 2007 we worked for a large global working the bank in Hong Kong. We facilitated an out- and indoor programme as part of a one week Advanced Leadership Course for high potentials and senior executives. During the break in the weekend we planned to visit Beijng. Hi Iko. We made it back safely to Tokyo and want to let you know we have told all our friends about you and how nice you were to us while we were in Beijing. Hello Iko,
We have just arrived home in Australia after a week in Singapore on the way home. We had to return to work yesterday and it was not as fun as our trip with you in China. Our cats were very glad to see us home, but we wish that we could return to China.Thank you for looking after us on the tour, we had a very special time and our memories will last a lifetime. You really made us feel very welcome and it is great to return home and tell our friends in Australia what great new friends we have made in China.
I hope that your cats have not missed you too much while you were away. Our two Burmese Cats are named Matisse (Silver) and Coco (Brown). Coco is Jeni's and Matisse is mine. They are both sisters from the same litter and they are nearly 18 months old. I hope that you can send us a photo of your cats to share as well.Don't forget that you promised Jenifer that your honey moon will be in Australia, we are looking forward to seeing you again.
